CLEonline.com,
together with the Houston Bar Association (HBA),
are pleased to present a special online CLE program in the areas of
general litigation and appellate law. This seminar will focus on
actions you can take in the trial court designed to enhance the
presentation of your case on appeal or make it a less attractive option
for an opponent. The victorious trial court litigant who prepares for
appeal is less likely to have to face it. This course features a streaming video and a downloadable MP3 audio presentation from a live CLE seminar on this topic that
was originally conducted by the Houston Bar Association (HBA) on
October 3, 2014. You can access this presentation on demand at any
time during the course of the seminar session. This course is
approved for 1.25 MCLE hours.
Some of the subjects to be discussed during this course include:
- How to avoid appeals
- How to prepare for appeals
- How a litigant can make their case better
- Action in the trial court
The speaker for this course is Mr. Iain Simpson, an attorney with the firm of Simpson, P.C.
in Houston. Mr. Simpson represents companies and individuals in civil
