The speaker for this course is Mr. Arthur J. Wright, senior counsel with the firm of Thompson & Knight, LLP in Dallas and Houston. Mr. Wright counsels clients in acquisitions and dispositions of E&P, midstream properties, and natural resources companies and joint ventures relating thereto. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, American Bar Association, Dallas Bar Association, Energy Editorial Advisory Board and the North Texas Energy Council. His awards include The Best Lawyers in America and Thomson Reuters Texas Super Lawyers. He received his law degree from the University of Texas School of Law (J.D., 1971) and his undergraduate degree from Tulane University (B.A., 1968).
