This CLE course will provide essential background information regarding the role of medical cannabis as a pharmaceutical, how it works in the body and translational research occurring at the Texas Medical Center. Furthermore, this program provide an in-depth overview of current laws and implementations associated with Texas Compassionate Use Program, Texas Department of Public Safety, Standards in Quality Control for participants, and National trends in law and policy. This course features streaming video and audio (as well as downloadable MP3 audio) presentations from a live CLE seminar originally conducted by the Houston Bar Association on April 19, 2018.
