The speaker for this course is Mr. Ashish Mahendru, an attorney in a solo
practice in
Houston with The
Litigation Group. Mr. Mahendru litigates a broad range of
cases in state courts and federal courts, including those involving
personal injury, employment, consumer, commercial, intellectual
property and medical malpractice disputes. He is admitted to practice
in all state
courts in Texas and Massachusetts, and also before the U.S. District
Court for the
Southern and Western Districts of Texas and the District of
Massachusetts. He is a
member of the State Bar of Texas and the Houston Bar Association. He
received his law
degree from the University of Texas School of Law (J.D.,
1996) and his
undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin (B.A.,
