The speaker for this is Ms. Nancy Kornegay, a name partner with the firm of Brown & Kornegay LLP in Houston. She is admitted to practice in all state courts in Texas and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Houston Bar Association. Her awards include Thomson Reuters "Texas Rising Star" (2010 and 2011). She received her law degree from the University of Houston Law Center (J.D., with honors, 2001) and her undergraduate degree from the University of Houston (B.A., summa cum laude, 1997).
