Speaker: Ms. Teresa Schneider, an attorney with the firm of Winstead Houston. Since 1990, Ms. Schneider has practiced commercial litigation. She received her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University (B.S., 1986) and her law degree from the South Texas College of Law (J.D., 1990). Teresa has practiced commercial litigation with Winstead since 1990, handling a wide variety of matters ranging from antitrust to trademark disputes. Teresa's broad range of experience allows her to identify the vast number of issues her clients face and resolve them as expeditiously as possible. Teresa currently serves as Deputy Managing Shareholder of the Houston office. She also serves as Director of Professional Development, responsible for all training and continuing education at Winstead PC. She is the creator of Winstead University, the firm's advanced education program for lawyers and clients responsible for almost 50 presentations a year. She also serves as Director of Winstead's Women's Alliance, after past stints as chair of the Diversity Committee and Pro Bono Coordinator for the firm. She is currently leading the firm's efforts in habeas proceedings in a death penalty case. She also serves as a Neutral Arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association in commercial cases.
