He is a member of the State Bar of Texas (Real Estate, Probate & Trust Law Section and Oil & Gas Section), College of the State Bar of Texas, Houston Bar Association, Greater Houston Neighborhood Associations (Director), and Community Associations Institute (CAI) ( Houston Chapter, Premium Partner.) He received his law degree from South Texas College of Law (J.D., 2007) and his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University (B.S., 1995).
