CLEonline.com, together with the Houston Bar Association, are pleased to present a special online CLE seminar on a cutting edge topic. This seminar will describe the Financial Meltdown of 2008-09, its causes, and their implications for legal claims and defenses. This non-technical presentation is designed to acquaint you with fact situations involving so-called "derivatives," Bear Stearns, Fannie Mae, Lehman Brothers, AIG, other financial institutions, and their securities. It will discuss operations of the Bernard Madoff, Stanford Financial Group, and other alleged Ponzi schemes. Regulatory and individual due diligence required to protect attorney and client financial assets in the future will also be covered.

This audio presentation features attorney Robert S. Toth of the Houston financial firm of Tri-Star Financial. This is a streaming audio presentation that you can access on demand at any time during the course of the seminar session. The audio presentation runs for approximately 1.25 hours.
