CLEonline.com, together with the Houston Bar Association, are pleased to present a practical online CLE seminar on common criminal law questions for non-criminal law attorneys. What do you do when the phone rings in the middle of the night and one of your clients has been stopped by the police driving home from a party? What is your response when your corporate client calls in the early morning and tells you law enforcement is executing a search warrant at that moment? How do you deal with a company official who is suspected of taking money? This seminar will be a quick guide on how to handle common criminal law emergencies that the civil practitioner may encounter during the work day or in the middle of the night.
This seminar features an audio presentation from a live CLE seminar on this topic that was originally conducted by the Houston Bar Association (HBA) on September 4, 2008.
