Michael M. Essmyer, who is a name partner with the firm of Essmyer, Tritico & Rainey, L.L.P. in Houston. Mr. Essmyer has a wide and varied practice devoted to litigation, both in civil areas of law and criminal law. He is admitted in Texas and is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First, Fifth, Seventh, and Ninth Circuit Appellate Courts, and the Southern, Northern, Eastern and Western Federal District Courts of Texas. His professional memberships include the American Bar Association, Houston Bar Association, State Bar of Texas, the American, Texas and Houston Trial Lawyers Associations, and the Federal Bar Association, among others. He received his law degree from South Texas College of Law (J.D., Magna Cum Laude, 1980), and his undergraduate degree from Texas A& M University (B.S., Geology, 1972).
