Mr. Gregory M. Cokinos, who is a name partner with the firm of Cokinos Bosien & Young in Houston. Mr. Cokinos has concentrated his practice in trial work and has been involved in a wide range of litigation matters as well as contract negotiations, handling significant cases in virtually every area of commercial law, including complex and multiparty construction disputes, securities fraud, real estate, patent infringement, employment, banking, franchise agreements, oil and gas and serious personal injury and death. He also has extensive experience in real estate transactions and development, having represented owners, developers, landlords and tenants in all areas of commercial real estate acquisition, financing, development, leasing and sale. He is admitted to practice in all state courts in Texas and before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern, Northern, Southern and Western Districts of Texas. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Houston Bar Association, American Arbitration Association, American Bar Association, American College of Construction Lawyers, Association of General Contractors of America, Texas Bar Foundation, Texas Trial Lawyers Association and the College of the State Bar of Texas. He received his law degree from South Texas College of Law of Law (J.D., 1982) and his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University (B.B.A., 1979).
