The instructor/moderator for this CLEonline.com seminar will be:

Ms. Tricia S. Heil of Austin. Ms. Heil is an attorney in private practice where she handles cases in the areas of licensure and discipline, as well as general litigation. She served previously as the Assistant Director of the Texas Lawyers Assistance Program and the Professionalism Enhancement Program at the State Bar of Texas. She has written and spoken extensively on the legal and ethical implications of impairments in the legal profession, and her articles have been reprinted nationally and internationally. She served as one of the faculty for the ABA National Workshop on Lawyer Assistance Programs in 1993 and 1995.

Ms. Heil received her law degree from St. Mary's University School of Law (1994, with Honors) and her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas (1982). She is a member of the State Bar of Texas where she has served on the following committees: Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct Committee; Rules of Evidence Committee; and the Lawyers Assistance Committee. She is also a member of the Texas Center for Legal Ethics and Professionalism and the College of the State Bar of Texas.

This seminar is accredited for 1.0 hour of participatory CLE credit (all in the area of legal ethics and professional responsibility) by the MCLE Committees of the State Bar of California and the State Bar of Texas.
