Ms. Rebecca S. Whitehouse, who is an attorney in solo practice in Austin. Ms. Whitehouse handles cases in a wide range of employment matters, such as discipline and discharge issues, employee testing, defending discrimination and retaliation charges, and drafting and enforcing employment policies. She also assists employers with hiring and transferring foreign national employees, I-9 compliance, and obtaining and maintaining employment authorization. She is admitted to practice in all state courts in Texas and before the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States District Courts for the Southern, Northern and Western Districts of Texas. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas; Austin Bar Association (Solo Small Firm Section, President, 2005-2006); American Immigration Lawyers Association; and the Texas Association of Business and Chamber of Commerce. She received her law degree from the University of Michigan School of Law (J.D., 1991) and her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan (B.A., 1988).
