Mr. David Hartman, who is an attorney with the firm of Smith|Robertson LLP in Austin. Mr. Hartman has a diversified land use and real estate development practice, including experience in a broad range of land development permitting, entitlement, and natural resource issues. His practice focuses on the representation of clients in the areas of zoning, planning, and entitlements law, including representation before city councils, boards, commissions, and other governmental entities. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and admitted to practice before all Texas courts. His professional memberships include: (1) American Bar Association: [State & Local Government; Real Property; Environment, Energy and Natural Resources Sections]; (2) State Bar of Texas [Environmental and Natural Resources; Real Estate, Probate and Trust Sections]; (3) Travis County Bar Association [Real Estate Section]; (4) Real Estate Council of Austin [Central Texas CCIM Chapter: Board of Directors (2005-06); Board Member (2003-2005); Co-Chair, Legislative Committee; Chair, Transportation Committee (2005); Ordinance and Legislative Review Committee (1999-present); Chair, Neighborhood Plan Amendment Task Force (2002)]; (5) Home Builders Association of Greater Austin [Land Use Council (1999-present)]; (6) Downtown Austin Alliance [Economic Development Committee (2000-present)].
