Ms. Lisa S. Tsai, who is a partner with the firm of Diamond McCarthy in Austin. Lisa has represented clients in a wide variety of complex business litigation, including fiduciary litigation, business and partnership disputes, securities and shareholder derivative litigation, copyright and trademark disputes, trade secret cases, bank liability cases, professional liability litigation, toxic tort litigation, bad faith insurance disputes, class actions, and employment matters. Lisa is licensed to practice law in both Texas and California. In 2007 and 2008, Texas Monthly named Lisa a "Rising Star" in its Super Lawyers edition, a distinction reserved for the top 2.5% of Texas attorneys who are under 40 years of age or have been practicing law for less than 10 years.

She is admitted to the State Bar of Texas, State Bar of California, the Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Texas, and the Central and Southern Districts of California. Lisa is active in a variety of professional and community organizations, including serving as Chair Elect of the Asian Pacific Interest Section of the State Bar of Texas, Council Member of the Austin Asian American Bar Association, Co-Chair of the Austin Bar Association Bench Bar Committee, and Member of the City of Austin Ethics Review Commission. Lisa also serves on the board of the Texas Fair Defense Project, and provides pro bono legal services for victims of domestic violence.

Lisa received her J.D. with honors from the University of Texas School of Law in 2001, and was selected as a member of the Order of the Coif upon graduation. Lisa served as a member of the Texas Law Review, during which time she published her student note in the area of employment law. Following law school, Lisa served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Samuel B. Kent in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. Lisa received her A.B. in Politics, with highest honors, from Princeton University in 1998. While at Princeton, Lisa received the Lyman H. Atwater Prize in Politics for writing the best senior thesis in the Department of Politics. A portion of her thesis, which examined the factors affecting the viability of Asian American political candidates, was published in the Asian American Policy Review, a journal published by the John F.
