Mr. Jason Ray, who is an attorney and name partner with the firm of Riggs, Aleshire & Ray in Austin. Mr. Ray has an extensive administrative law practice where he handles regulatory and occupational licensing matters at the State Office of Administrative Hearings, district court, and the courts of appeals, specifically: Texas PIA and FOIA (Open Records Act) requests and violations, Open Meetings Act violations, rule interpretation, administrative rule-making, and rule challenges, and defending those subject to agency enforcement actions and administrative penalties. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and admitted to practice before all Texas courts and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas. His professional memberships include the State Bar of Texas and the Austin Bar Association (Administrative Law Section; President 2007-08). He received his law degree from Texas Tech University School of Law (J.D., 1996); and his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University.
