The speaker for this course is Mr. Derek J. Lisk, a trial lawyer and mediator in private practice in Houston. Mr.
Lisk is admitted to practice in all state courts in Texas and
before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern, Northern, Southern
and Western Districts of Texas. He is a member of the State Bar of
Texas, American Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, Houston
Bar Association and the Houston Bar Foundation. He received his law
degree from University of Houston Law Center (J.D., 1988) and his
undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut (B.A.,
1971).
