CLEonline.com, together with the Houston Bar Association, are pleased to present a special online CLE course that will focus on the ever-evolving areas of law that impact employer obligations with regard to handling medical conditions in the workplace. This program will cover leave and accommodations under the FMLA and ADA, pregnancy in the workplace, complex return to work and fitness for duty issues, and the inevitable overlap with workers' compensation, short-term and long-term disability and other employer policies. This seminar will also include a look at how both the federal agencies and the courts are enforcing these issues, and what employers (and their counsel) should expect in their arena in 2015. This course features a streaming video and a downloadable MP3 audio presentation from a live CLE seminar on this topic that was originally conducted by the Houston Bar Association (HBA) on July 9, 2015. You can access on this presentation demand at any time during the course of the seminar session. This course is approved for 1.50 MCLE hours.

Some of the subjects to be discussed during this course include:

  • Handling Medical Conditions In Workplace

  • FMLA & ADA

  • Fitness For Duty

  • Pregnancy In Workplace

  • Complex Return To Work

  • Workers' Compensation
